Also used for treating infections in the urogenital tract, oral cavity, throat, and skin caused by obligate anaerobic bacteria (such as Clostridia spp.) that are susceptible to metronidazole.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eDosage:\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003cbr\u003eFor oral use only. The suggested dose is 50 mg of metronidazole per kg of body weight each day for 5-7 days. The total daily dosage can be split into two equal parts for administration twice a day (i.e., 25 mg\/kg body weight twice daily).
