de-nitrate is a cost-effective, natural, and porous substance designed with a pore structure that enables aerobic nitrification in the initial layers and anaerobic denitrification in the center. Its high surface area fosters a dense colony of beneficial bacteria. While de-nitrate can hold some nitrate, similar to other nitrate-absorbing materials like specific zeolites and synthetic resins, its capacity is somewhat limited, with the primary process for nitrate elimination being anaerobic.
KEY FEATURES:
DIRECTIONS: To achieve optimal performance, de-nitrate should be installed in a way that ensures water flows through it effectively, such as in a canister filter, chemical filtration module, or box filter. The flow rate should not exceed 200L (50 US gallons) per hour.
