Sera Koi All Seasons Probiotic 500g 72.00 AED
Nourishing and immune-boosting food for Koi, designed for feeding throughout the year floating pellets featuring a unique ring and core structure enriched with probiotic active bacteria to enhance and stabilize intestinal flora promotes health and optimizes feed utilization Koi develop robust health, build a strong immune system, and contribute to cleaner water high in protein for optimal growth Probiotics are now recognized beyond yogurts or dietary supplements for humans—they have become an essential part of ornamental fish nutrition. Since 2016, the intestinal flora stabilizer Bacillus velezensis (previously known as B. subtilis) has been approved for inclusion in ornamental fish feed, receiving explicit endorsement from the EFSA (European Food Safety Authority) to enhance growth and feed efficiency. sera was the pioneer to respond swiftly in 2016 by introducing an innovative probiotic koi food: “Koi All Seasons Probiotic.” As part of the brand's rebranding initiative, the name was updated to “Koi Professional Probiotic.” Koi Professional Probiotic is ideal for year-round feeding of koi when water temperatures exceed 8 °C. The specially co-extruded granules include not only the natural, functional components that are typical of sera, such as MOS, beta-glucans, Haematococcus algae, spirulina, and more, but also the probiotic Bacillus velezensis, which supports the fish's intestinal flora. This enhances their overall health and boosts feed efficiency. As a result, koi grow rapidly and uniformly, while the water remains less polluted by harmful waste and algae-promoting substances. To reap these benefits throughout the year, this specialized food should replace seasonal diets several times a week, as long as water temperatures are above 8 °C. It also serves excellently as a primary food source. Koi Professional line Within the Koi Professional line, sera provides high-quality food options tailored to the unique needs of cold-blooded fish during various seasons (spring & fall, summer, winter). Additionally, there are two functional food options, Koi Professional Color and Probiotic, which are suitable for year-round feeding. Koi Professional Junior has been specifically formulated to cater to the dietary requirements of young Koi. ParaGuard 2L
ParaGuard 2L 318.10 AED
ParaGuard is the sole aldehyde-based (10% by weight) solution that is both fish and filter safe for controlling parasites on fish. Unlike formalin-based treatments that can be highly toxic and challenging to administer, ParaGuard is free from formaldehyde and methanol, ensuring it does not affect the pH levels of your aquarium. KEY FEATURES: Eliminates ectoparasites along with fungal, bacterial, and viral lesions Safer to administer compared to formaldehyde, formalin, and methanol Does not negatively impact bio-filters DIRECTIONS: Dosing Before use, remove all invertebrates from the tank and any chemical filtration. Add 5mL (1 capful) of ParaGuard for every 40L (10 US gallons). Repeat this dosage daily as necessary, provided that the fish do not display any signs of stress. ParaGuard can also be utilized as a medicated dip. For 1-hour dips, mix 3mL per 4L (1 US gallon) in a container separate from your main tank. Dips can be prolonged if the fish show no signs of stress. Remember, many diseases can persist in the water as well as on the fish. Administering a dip treatment will be ineffective if the fish are returned to contaminated water. Quarantine This setup allows you to monitor and treat new fish before introducing them into the main tank. ParaGuard is gentle enough for preventive use (even when there are no visible symptoms) if necessary. Quarantine durations can vary, but we typically suggest a treatment period of 2 weeks with ParaGuard to eliminate any potential external infections. Sensitive Fish Certain fish species are more susceptible to medications than others. Eels, loaches, rays, sharks, and many others are noted for their heightened sensitivity. If you believe your fish may react adversely to medications, it's perfectly acceptable to start with a lower dose and gradually increase to the full dosage over several days.Expires on 19 May 2030

Cupramine 250 ml
Cupramine 250 ml 111.43 AED
Cupramine is highly effective in eliminating oodinium, cryptocaryon, amyloodinium, ichthyophthirius, and various ectoparasites affecting both freshwater and marine fish. It outperforms copper sulfate, chloride, and citrate as it is non-acidic, poses less toxicity to fish, remains dissolved in water, and does not pollute the filter bed. Additionally, it surpasses chelates by being fully charged (ionic), effective at low concentrations, and easily removable with carbon. KEY FEATURES: - Copper treatment for external parasites - Active at low concentration (does not precipitate) - Bound on amine, making it less harmful to fish - Completely removable with carbon or Cuprisorb DIRECTIONS: Before Treating Remove all invertebrates, as they are highly sensitive to copper and cannot endure treatment with copper-based medications. Turn off UV filters and ozone filters, and take out any chemical filtration such as MatrixCarbon and Purigen. Avoid using alongside any other medications. Do not apply any products containing reducing agents (conditioners, ammonia binders, etc.) while using Cupramine. Treatment If the bottle includes a dropper cap, administer 20 drops (1mL) per 40L (10.5 US gallons) on the first day, wait 48 hours, then repeat. For bottles without dropper caps, each inner ring equals 1mL. In freshwater, use half the dose. The target copper concentration is 0.5 mg/L (0.25 mg/L in freshwater). Maintain this level for 14 days. Do not re-dose without testing. If the tank has previously been treated with an ionic copper (e.g., copper chloride, sulfate, or citrate), check the copper level after the initial dosing. While most fish can tolerate Cupramine at up to 0.8 mg/L, it is recommended not to exceed 0.6 mg/L of copper. Finish the Full Treatment Ich, velvet, and numerous other parasites spend a significant part of their life cycle as cysts that are resistant to medications and can hide in your tank's substrate. It is crucial to complete the entire treatment, even if you do not observe parasites on the fish! After Treating Cupramine can be eliminated using carbon. Keep the copper-absorbing media in your tank for at least a week after the copper level has dropped to 0 to ensure all remnants of the medication have been thoroughly removed.Expires on 19 May 2030
