Purigen is a top-tier synthetic adsorbent that stands out from any other filtration solution. Unlike a blend of ion exchangers or adsorbents, it is a distinct macro-porous synthetic polymer that eliminates both soluble and insoluble impurities from water at a speed and capacity that surpasses all competing products by more than 500%. Purigen effectively manages ammonia, nitrites, and nitrates by removing nitrogenous organic waste that would otherwise produce these harmful substances.

DIRECTIONS:
Rinse prior to use. Employ a fine mesh (180 micron or finer) filter bag like Seachem's The Bag. For optimal performance, position Purigen to maximize water flow through it. It can be utilized in a canister filter, media chamber, box filter, or any area with high flow in a trickle filter. Each 250mL treats up to 1,000L (250 US gallons) for a duration of up to six months. Depletion is signaled by a noticeable darkening of the beads to dark brown or black.
