You can combine Reef Builder with Reef Buffer for optimal results. Utilize Reef Builder to elevate carbonate alkalinity while keeping pH stable. In contrast, use Reef Buffer to enhance both carbonate alkalinity and pH. It’s essential to maintain reef alkalinity between 3–5 meq/L (8–14 dKH), and ensure that alkalinity does not drop below 2 meq/L.
