Aqua Medic Calcium Reactor KR Blue
Our Aqua Medic Calcium Reactor KR Blue is a sealed unit featuring a built-in circulation pump and CO2 return system. It can be installed in a bypass, functioning independently of the aquarium or filter sump's water level. This reactor comes pre-filled with 8 lbs. of hydrocarbonate. By introducing CO2, the pH level within the KR Blue decreases, allowing the hydrocarbonate to dissolve effectively. Even though the flow rate is low at approximately 0.25 - 1 gph, it efficiently delivers substantial quantities of calcium and bicarbonate ions into the aquarium, greatly benefiting its inhabitants. The KR Blue includes a port for a pH probe (PG 13.5). It is suitable for aquariums ranging from 65 to 270 gallons.
Recommended accessories: Dosing Pump SP 1500 for a steady water supply, Solenoid Valve, pH Controller, and pH Probe for CO2 supplementation, along with Hydrocarbonate and Dolomite for calcium and magnesium replenishment.
