This unit is also equipped with a unique self-priming system. Just a couple of pushes with the plunger will allow the filter to fill with water effortlessly.

To select the appropriate ULTRA filter model for your aquarium, please consider the following guidelines based on your tank's capacity:

• ULTRA 1000: Suitable for aquariums up to 53 US gallons (200 liters).
• ULTRA 1500: Ideal for aquariums ranging from 42 to 79 US gallons (160 to 300 liters).
• ULTRA 2000: Designed for aquariums between 69 and 159 US gallons (260 to 600 liters).

Each ULTRA filter model comes with a specific number of filter media trays, each offering a capacity of 0.5 US gallons (1.9 liters):

• ULTRA 1000: 3 filter media trays
• ULTRA 1500: 4 filter media trays
