Experience top-notch filtration technology with the integrated features of the professionel 4+, the latest evolution in our line of external filters. Its square canister design provides stability, accommodates a generous filter volume, fits neatly in corners, and saves space.

The innovative Xtender function allows for longer intervals between filter cleanings. The professionel 4+ is offered in three sizes, catering to aquariums of 250, 350, and 600 liters. Additionally, the 250 and 350 models are available as thermo filters (T).

All professionel 4+ filters are known for their impressive flow rate, energy efficiency, and added features:

Self-priming: Eliminate complicated suction techniques! The self-priming aid prepares the filter system for a quick and effortless start.
Safety hose adapter: The tap unit comes equipped with two hose connectors. For safety, the hose adapter can only be detached when the valves are closed.
Prefilter: The upper prefilter captures larger dirt particles and can be regularly cleaned, extending the maintenance period between media cleanings.
Filter baskets: Unique filter baskets for biological and mechanical media can be easily removed, with the contents easily cleaned using the ‘Easy Clean’ grid.
“Xtender” Control Function: If the media (fine filter pad) becomes clogged, the flow rate can be increased through the control function. This allows water to be redirected while maintaining biological filtration, postponing the need for filter cleaning by a few days.
Quiet operation: EHEIM’s high-performance bearings and ceramic axles ensure silent operation, longevity, and reliability.
