Adjustment and Control The EHEIM thermocontrol+ e aquarium heater represents an advanced version of the thermocontrol e heater. Unlike its predecessor, it is programmed and monitored wirelessly via WLAN using your smartphone, tablet, or PC/MAC. You can set the temperature accurately between 18 and 32 °C. Should the temperature deviate by +/- 2 degrees, an email notification will be sent to your registered address. Synchronization with Other Devices A standout feature is the ability to synchronize the thermocontrol+ e with other devices from the Eheim Digital Family, such as the EHEIM professionel 5e filter or the LEDcontrol+ lighting system. This allows you to program the heater to adjust the temperature based on changes in filter flow (in bio mode) or when the LED lights are turned on or off. For example, if the filter flow increases at night and the lighting is turned off, the set temperature will automatically adjust to 25 °C during the day and 23 °C at night. (Please note: The heater does not cool the water as it has no integrated cooling feature.) WLAN Connection The thermocontrol+ e is fully waterproof and submersible. For optimal WLAN connectivity, it should only be immersed up to the "water level" mark. To ensure the security of your device, every EHEIM thermocontrol+ e comes encrypted from the factory (the password can be customized). Once you have set your desired temperature, the Wi-Fi network can be switched off.
