For Cattle and Swine
Solucef PPU is an antibiotic formulated with 5% Ceftiofur, a third-generation cephalosporin known for its quick bioavailability and broad spectrum of effectiveness against both Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria, including
beta-lactamase-producing strains.
Active Ingredient: Each 100ml contains - Ceftiofur (Hydrochloride) 5g

Indications for use: Solucef PPU is recommended for the following animal species:
Cattle: This product is intended for treating pneumonia caused by Pasteurella multocida, enteritis due to Salmonella Typhimurium and Escherichia coli, hoof rot caused by Fusobacterium necrophorum,
and mastitis due to Streptococcus dysgalactiae. It also helps in controlling and preventing post-surgical and postpartum infections from organisms sensitive to ceftiofur.
Swine: For pneumonia treatment caused by Pasteurella multocida and Actinobacillus (Haemophilus) pleuropneumoniae, enteritis due to Salmonella choleraesuis and Escherichia
coli, as well as meningoencephalitis caused by Streptococcus suis type 2. It also assists in the control and prevention of genitourinary, post-surgical, and postpartum infections by organisms
sensitive to ceftiofur. Administer via deep intramuscular injection at a dose of 1.0 to 2.0 mL per 50 kg of body weight, which corresponds to 1.0 to 2.0 mg/kg of body weight. Repeat the treatment every 24 hours for 3
consecutive days. Do not exceed 15 ml injected at a single site.
Dosage & Administration:
Swine: Administer as a deep intramuscular injection, preferably in the neck area, at a dosage of 0.6 to 1.0 mL per 10 kg of body weight, which equals 3.0 to 5.0 mg/kg of body weight. Repeat the treatment every 24 hours for 3 consecutive days. Do not inject more than 10 ml at a single site.
Withdrawal Period: Cattle - Slaughter: Animals treated with this product should not be slaughtered until 3 days after the final application. Milk: No withdrawal period is necessary for milk.
Swine - Slaughter: Animals treated with this product should not be slaughtered until 2 days after the final application.
Storage: Keep the packaging tightly closed in a cool, dry location at room temperature (15 °C to 30 °C) away from direct sunlight.
