The soft, moon-like glow provides nocturnal reptiles and amphibians with the visibility they require without disrupting their natural night cycle. It's also perfect for observing your pets at night without turning on lights that could induce stress and confusion. This versatile fixture accommodates a range of screw-based bulbs, including Daytime Heat Lamp, Intense Basking Spot, Daylight Basking Spot, Halogen Basking Spot, Natural Light, Reptile UVB100, UVB150, UVB200, Infrared Basking Spot, Solar Glo 80W, and more. The coating captures light rays that would otherwise go unused, storing energy during the day and gradually releasing it at night, making this fixture more energy-efficient than traditional options. There's no need for an additional night bulb unless it's specifically used for heating purposes. You can attach one or more Exo Terra Glow Lights to the rim of your terrarium or aquarium, directing them toward the basking area with the spring-loaded swivel clamp, or place them on top of a metal screen cover in any preferred position. Please note that Exo Terra Glow Light models are NOT compatible with Exo Terra Terrariums; use the Exo Terra Light Dome along with the Exo Terra Light Bracket instead.
