API® PROPER pH 7.5 automatically adjusts and maintains pH at 7.5 while effectively removing chlorine and neutralizing heavy metals. This formula also includes electrolytes that help alleviate fish stress and enhance overall well-being. The pH scale measures how acidic or alkaline water is, with a neutral pH value of 7.0. Any pH values exceeding 7.0 are classified as alkaline, while values below 7.0 are deemed acidic. Different species of fish require specific pH levels to thrive, making it essential to regularly test your water to confirm that pH levels are within the appropriate range. If the water does not meet the desired pH, utilize API PROPER pH 7.5 to correct and stabilize the levels for fish such as Goldfish, Barbs, Central American Cichlids, and livebearers like mollies, swordtails, and guppies.
