Karis Bacteria House Bio Filtration Media, measuring 16X3.6cm, is a ceramic bio house media that offers 10 times the effectiveness of standard filtration by fostering beneficial bacteria. It undergoes a heat treatment at 1300 degrees Celsius for 60 hours, which breaks the internal bonds of the ceramic, resulting in an exceptionally high level of porosity that provides ample surface area for both aerobic and anaerobic bacteria to establish and thrive. These optimal conditions are essential for the swift breakdown of ammonia, nitrites, and nitrates, leading to enhanced water quality.
