API® SUPER ICK CURE is an effective treatment for “Ich,” also known as white spot disease, in fish, as well as other highly transmissible parasitic infections. The Ich parasite has a complex life cycle, and it is not detectable in its initial stages when it infiltrates the gill and skin tissues, leading to significant electrolyte loss and gill harm, and can also trigger secondary bacterial or fungal infections.

Initial signs of this infection may include your fish swimming erratically in the tank, rubbing against gravel or decorations, struggling to breathe, and staying close to the water's surface, near filters, or aeration devices. White spots may not always be apparent on the fish.

SUPER ICK CURE typically eradicates the Ich parasite within 24 hours and is safe for use in both freshwater and saltwater aquariums. This remedy is available in both liquid and powder forms, and it’s crucial to follow the dosing instructions on the packaging.

• For every 10 gallons of water, add one packet directly into the aquarium.
• Administer a second dose after 48 hours.
• After another 48 hours, replace 25% of the aquarium water and introduce fresh activated carbon or change the filter cartridge.

Instructions for liquid usage:

• Take out the activated carbon from the filter and maintain aeration.
• Add 5 ml. for every 5 gallons of aquarium water.
• Repeat the dosing after 48 hours.
• After another 48 hours, change 25% of the aquarium water and add new activated carbon.
