Aqua Medic Nitratereductor Nr Blue

The Aqua Medic Nitratreductor NR Blue (410.760) is an anaerobic biological reactor designed to effectively eliminate nitrates from both saltwater and freshwater aquariums. With a capacity of 5 liters (approximately 1.2 gallons) and equipped with an internal circulation pump, this Nitratereductor operates at a flow rate between 1 to 4 liters per hour (around 0.25 to 1 gallon per hour). In an oxygen-free environment, it fosters bacteria that utilize nitrate as a food source. Denimar-powder or Deniballs serve as the organic energy source for this process. The Nitratereductor NR Blue is a self-contained unit that can be seamlessly integrated into existing filter systems, or it can be positioned independently beneath the aquarium. Included with the unit are Deniballs and BactoBalls.
