The Aquael Versamax Hang-On-Back Filter is a dependable and effective filtration system crafted for both freshwater and saltwater aquariums. Its compact design allows for easy attachment to the back of your aquarium, making it perfect for smaller tanks or those with limited space. The straightforward and user-friendly layout of the Versamax ensures easy access to the media basket, simplifying the process of cleaning and replacing the filter media. This filter comes in 4 different sizes, suitable for aquariums ranging from 1 to 80 gallons. It also features a flow adjustment valve, enabling you to tailor the flow and filtration according to your aquarium’s specific requirements. The Aquael Versamax Hang-On-Back Filter boasts advanced features, including a multi-stage filtration system that encompasses mechanical, biological, and chemical filtration, along with an adjustable flow valve, leveling stand, and filter media basket. Included in the standard package: Each package consists of a filter lid, a flow-through unit, and a container for filter media equipped with a sponge cartridge. The Versamax filter is completely watertight, as the entire unit is constructed from a single piece. Operational instructions: Mount the filter on the wall of the aquarium so that the suction tube is submerged while the pump body remains outside. To start, fill the filter tank with water and connect the power cable to an outlet. Shortly after power-up, a correctly installed filter will pull air from the suction system and start pumping water from the aquarium. The pumping speed can be easily adjusted using the knob on the top of the flow unit. The pump draws water from the aquarium, which then passes through the filter cartridges before being returned to the tank. The filter's flow rate can be modified with the dial on top of the flow unit, and the angle of the filter is also adjustable. This filter efficiently aerates the water, boosts oxygen levels, and creates a gentle movement on the surface. Specifications: Power consumption: 7.2 watts Flow capacity: up to 800 liters/hour Recommended for aquariums between 40-200 liters Dimensions: 22.5x15x23.5 2 filter chambers
