The ASAP filters merge exceptional performance and user-friendly features with a smart design that minimizes the time needed for upkeep. This internal filter features a modern energy-efficient motor encased in an elegant housing along with a spacious transparent filter bowl filled with carefully selected filtration sponge. The sponge quickly becomes home to beneficial bacteria, ensuring that the water passing through the filter receives both biological and mechanical filtration. As a result, the water remains clear and safe for all aquarium inhabitants. Maintenance involves two primary tasks: one is removing the filter bowl and replacing it with a new one (we provide standard cartridges as well as those with activated carbon or phosphate absorbent to inhibit algae growth). The other task is rinsing the filtration sponge in water taken from the tank. Impressively, this can be accomplished without needing to remove the entire filter from the aquarium, adding convenience and significantly cutting down on maintenance time. The new ASAP internal filters are also perfectly suited for aquaterrariums, as they can function in water as shallow as 5 centimeters. Additionally, they enhance oxygen levels in the tank by promoting strong water surface movement. There are three models available, with flow rates of 300, 500, and 700 l/h, respectively.
