These filters can operate in shallow water (5 cm deep or more), making them perfect for aqua-terrariums. AQUAEL introduces a groundbreaking range of internal aquarium filters. The ASAP filters merge high efficiency with user-friendly features and a smart design that minimizes maintenance time. Each ASAP internal filter is equipped with a modern energy-efficient motor housed in an attractive casing, along with a spacious transparent filter bowl filled with specially selected filtration sponge. The sponge quickly develops beneficial bacteria, allowing water that flows through the filter to undergo both biological and mechanical filtration. As a result, the water remains clear and safe for your aquarium’s inhabitants. Maintaining the filter involves two primary procedures. The first is to detach the filter bowl and replace it with a new one (we provide standard cartridges, as well as those containing activated carbon or phosphate absorbent to inhibit algae growth). The second procedure is to rinse the filtration sponge in water taken from the tank. This can be done without needing to take the entire filter out of the aquarium, which is very convenient and significantly cuts down on maintenance time. The new ASAP internal filters are also perfectly suited for aquaterrariums, as they can function in shallow water as little as 5 centimeters deep. Additionally, they effectively oxygenate the water by creating strong surface movement. There are three models available, with flow rates of 300, 500, and 700 l/h respectively. They are designed for aquarium tanks ranging from a few dozen to 250 litres. Thanks to their functional attributes, these filters are suitable for both novice and experienced aquarists alike.
