The magnetic valve allows you to turn off the CO2 supply in your aquarium when needed, such as for pH regulation or during the night. By shutting off the CO2 supply overnight, you can save up to 50% of CO2 since photosynthesis occurs only during daylight when plants absorb carbon dioxide and release oxygen. At night or in the absence of light, plants utilize oxygen, making CO2 fertilization unnecessary.

This magnetic valve operates on a 230V alternating current and is most effective when connected to an aquarium light timer. This setup enables the valve to turn off simultaneously with the aquarium lights.
