The professionel 4+ represents the latest evolution in our advanced external filters, showcasing high-quality filtration technology along with integrated features. Its square canister design offers stability and a generous filter volume while being suitable for corner placements and not occupying excessive space. Thanks to the innovative Xtender function, the intervals between filter cleanings can be extended.

Available in three sizes, the professionel 4+ filters cater to aquariums with capacities of up to 250, 350, and 600 liters. Both the 250 and 350 models are offered as thermo filters (T).

These filters are distinguished by their impressive flow capacity and energy efficiency, along with several additional features:

• Self-priming: Eliminate the hassle of complicated suction methods! The self-priming aid prepares the filter system for a quick and effortless start.
• Safety hose adapter: The tap unit includes two hose connectors; for safety, the hose adapter can only be detached when the valves are closed.
• Prefilter: The top prefilter captures larger dirt particles and can be routinely cleaned, which helps extend the maintenance intervals between media cleanings.
• Filter baskets: The individual filter baskets are designed for both biological and mechanical media. They can be easily removed, and their contents can be cleaned using the 'Easy Clean' grid. Simple to take out and easy to maintain.
• „Xtender“ Control Function: If the media (fine filter pad) becomes clogged, the flow rate can be adjusted using the control function. This redirects the water while maintaining biological filtration, allowing you to delay cleaning the filter for a few days.
• Quiet operation: EHEIM's high-performance bearings and ceramic axles ensure smooth, quiet operation, long-lasting performance, and durability.

All professionel filters come ready to connect, including original EHEIM filter media along with all necessary accessories: inlet and outlet pipes, EHEIM quality hose, and setup tools.
