The professionel 4+ filters come in three sizes, catering to aquariums of 250, 350, and 600 liters. Both the 250 and 350 models are also offered as thermo filters (T). All professionel 4+ filters boast impressive flow rates, minimal energy consumption, and several additional features:

• Self-Priming
  No more hassle with complicated suction methods! The self-priming feature allows for a quick and easy start-up of the filter system.
• Safety Hose Adapter
  The tap unit includes two hose connectors; the hose adapter can only be disconnected when the valves are securely closed for added safety.
• Prefilter
  The top prefilter captures larger dirt particles and can be cleaned regularly, extending the maintenance intervals between media cleanings.
• Filter Baskets
  Each filter comes with individual baskets for biological and mechanical media, which can be easily removed and cleaned using the ‘Easy Clean’ grid.
• “Xtender” Control Function
  If the media (fine filter pad) gets clogged, you can boost the flow rate using the control function. This redirects the water while maintaining biological filtration, allowing you to delay cleaning the filter for a few days.
• Quiet Operation
  EHEIM's high-performance bearings and ceramic axles ensure quiet operation, longevity, and durability.
