API POND ALGAEFIX, 16 OZ
85.71 AED
API POND ALGAEFIX algae control is an effective solution for managing green water algae blooms, string or hair algae (Cladophora), and blanketweed (Oedogonium) in ponds that house live plants and fish. This fast-acting formula not only curtails algae growth but also prevents the emergence of new algae, assisting in the resolution of existing algae issues.
Approved by the EPA, API POND ALGAEFIX algae control tackles various types of algae in water gardens, ponds, and decorative fountains that contain live plants and fish.
For precise dosing, calculate the pond's volume before application. Avoid overdosing. Add 1 teaspoon (5 ml) for every 50 gallons or 0.25 cup for every 600 gallons of pond or fountain water. Ensure thorough mixing by adding the solution near the pump outflow, waterfall, or aeration device. Alternatively, it can be mixed in a bucket and evenly dispersed throughout the pond. Repeat the dosage every 3 days until algae is under control. Once the algae growth is managed, administer one dose weekly. These regular doses will maintain algae growth in check and lessen pond upkeep.
CAUTION: AVOID using with freshwater crustaceans such as shrimp, crabs, and lobsters.Expires on 30 Apr 2028

Cupramine 250 ml
111.43 AED
Cupramine is highly effective in eliminating oodinium, cryptocaryon, amyloodinium, ichthyophthirius, and various ectoparasites affecting both freshwater and marine fish. It outperforms copper sulfate, chloride, and citrate as it is non-acidic, poses less toxicity to fish, remains dissolved in water, and does not pollute the filter bed. Additionally, it surpasses chelates by being fully charged (ionic), effective at low concentrations, and easily removable with carbon.
KEY FEATURES:
- Copper treatment for external parasites
- Active at low concentration (does not precipitate)
- Bound on amine, making it less harmful to fish
- Completely removable with carbon or Cuprisorb
DIRECTIONS:
Before Treating
Remove all invertebrates, as they are highly sensitive to copper and cannot endure treatment with copper-based medications. Turn off UV filters and ozone filters, and take out any chemical filtration such as MatrixCarbon and Purigen. Avoid using alongside any other medications. Do not apply any products containing reducing agents (conditioners, ammonia binders, etc.) while using Cupramine.
Treatment
If the bottle includes a dropper cap, administer 20 drops (1mL) per 40L (10.5 US gallons) on the first day, wait 48 hours, then repeat. For bottles without dropper caps, each inner ring equals 1mL. In freshwater, use half the dose. The target copper concentration is 0.5 mg/L (0.25 mg/L in freshwater). Maintain this level for 14 days. Do not re-dose without testing. If the tank has previously been treated with an ionic copper (e.g., copper chloride, sulfate, or citrate), check the copper level after the initial dosing. While most fish can tolerate Cupramine at up to 0.8 mg/L, it is recommended not to exceed 0.6 mg/L of copper.
Finish the Full Treatment
Ich, velvet, and numerous other parasites spend a significant part of their life cycle as cysts that are resistant to medications and can hide in your tank's substrate. It is crucial to complete the entire treatment, even if you do not observe parasites on the fish!
After Treating
Cupramine can be eliminated using carbon. Keep the copper-absorbing media in your tank for at least a week after the copper level has dropped to 0 to ensure all remnants of the medication have been thoroughly removed.Expires on 20 Nov 2029

API Aqua Essential, 16 Oz
80.00 AED
AQUA ESSENTIAL water conditioner is a powerful, concentrated all-in-one solution that instantly transforms tap water into a safe environment for fish by eliminating chlorine, chloramine, and detoxifying heavy metals typically present in tap water. This conditioner effectively neutralizes harmful ammonia, nitrate, and nitrite levels in freshwater, saltwater, and planted aquariums. Ammonia is continuously produced by fish through their gills, urine, and solid waste, while uneaten food and decomposing organic material contribute to its presence. Even small amounts of ammonia can cause stress to fish, while higher levels can be lethal. This innovative formula binds with ammonia, nitrite, and nitrate, making them non-toxic and enabling the biofilter to work more effectively in removing these harmful substances.
Apply this conditioner at the start-up of your aquarium and whenever you are adding or changing water, or if test results indicate elevated levels of ammonia, nitrates, or nitrites. When introducing, transporting, or quarantining fish, we suggest utilizing API STRESS COAT water conditioner, which pairs perfectly with AQUA ESSENTIAL water conditioner.
Using the dosing cap on the bottle, add 5 ml. for every 50 gallons of aquarium water to treat tap water. For the removal of ammonia, nitrite, and nitrate, use 5 ml. per 10 gallons of aquarium water. We recommend waiting 24 hours after dosing before performing a water change. If you dose again within that 24-hour window, it poses no risk to the animals or plants in your aquarium. A subsequent water change is always advantageous for the health of your aquatic system.Expires on 30 Jan 2028
