Cupramine 250 ml
Cupramine 250 ml 111.43 AED
Cupramine is highly effective in eliminating oodinium, cryptocaryon, amyloodinium, ichthyophthirius, and various ectoparasites affecting both freshwater and marine fish. It outperforms copper sulfate, chloride, and citrate as it is non-acidic, poses less toxicity to fish, remains dissolved in water, and does not pollute the filter bed. Additionally, it surpasses chelates by being fully charged (ionic), effective at low concentrations, and easily removable with carbon. KEY FEATURES: - Copper treatment for external parasites - Active at low concentration (does not precipitate) - Bound on amine, making it less harmful to fish - Completely removable with carbon or Cuprisorb DIRECTIONS: Before Treating Remove all invertebrates, as they are highly sensitive to copper and cannot endure treatment with copper-based medications. Turn off UV filters and ozone filters, and take out any chemical filtration such as MatrixCarbon and Purigen. Avoid using alongside any other medications. Do not apply any products containing reducing agents (conditioners, ammonia binders, etc.) while using Cupramine. Treatment If the bottle includes a dropper cap, administer 20 drops (1mL) per 40L (10.5 US gallons) on the first day, wait 48 hours, then repeat. For bottles without dropper caps, each inner ring equals 1mL. In freshwater, use half the dose. The target copper concentration is 0.5 mg/L (0.25 mg/L in freshwater). Maintain this level for 14 days. Do not re-dose without testing. If the tank has previously been treated with an ionic copper (e.g., copper chloride, sulfate, or citrate), check the copper level after the initial dosing. While most fish can tolerate Cupramine at up to 0.8 mg/L, it is recommended not to exceed 0.6 mg/L of copper. Finish the Full Treatment Ich, velvet, and numerous other parasites spend a significant part of their life cycle as cysts that are resistant to medications and can hide in your tank's substrate. It is crucial to complete the entire treatment, even if you do not observe parasites on the fish! After Treating Cupramine can be eliminated using carbon. Keep the copper-absorbing media in your tank for at least a week after the copper level has dropped to 0 to ensure all remnants of the medication have been thoroughly removed.Expires on 19 May 2030
