The Aqua Medic midiflotor is an air-driven counter-current internal protein skimmer designed for aquariums with a capacity of up to 400 liters. It features a unique double reaction pipe that makes it an effective counter-flow skimmer. Air bubbles ascend within the inner pipe, and similar to an air lift, they carry a significant amount of water along with them. This water is then directed downward through the outer pipe. The air bubbles travel with the water stream until they reach the expansion cone, where they reverse direction and rise in the counter-current. This design results in a notably extended detention time for the bubbles in the water. Additionally, it comes equipped with a lime wood air diffuser that generates very fine air bubbles. There is also a holding plate that accommodates a redox electrode. For optimal air supply, we recommend using the Mistral 300 membrane air pump (sold separately). The Aqua Medic mV Computer-Set uses the same microprocessor technique as the Aqua Medic pH Computer-Set. Waterproof touch keys are used to set the required values and calibrate the electrode. The Aqua Medic mV Computer-Set is ideal for controlling anaerobic biological filters such as the Nitratereductor which have negative redox potential or can control the supply of ozone to the aquarium, or monitor the aquarium water’s redox potential. All these functions are possible due to the computer’s broad measurement and control range of -500 to +1000 mV. The direction of control can be set upwards or downwards. The status of the direction of control and the output are shown on LED’s. A plastic shafted mV electrode with a BNC fitting and calibration fluid is included. The MV computer set utilizes the same microprocessor technology as the pH computer set. It features waterproof touch buttons for easy adjustment of desired values and electrode calibration. This MV computer set is perfect for managing anaerobic biological filters like the Nitrate reductor, which operate with negative redox potential, or for regulating the ozone supply in your aquarium, as well as monitoring the redox potential of the aquarium water. All these capabilities stem from the computer's extensive measurement and control range of -500 to +1000 mV. You can configure the control direction to either increase or decrease. Nitratreductor NR 1000 Denitrification filter for aquariums up to 1000 litres (c. 250 gallons)   The Nitratreductor is an anaerobic biological reactor for removing nitrates from marine and freshwater aquaria. It has a 10 l (c. 4.5 gals) volume and an internal circulation pump. The Nitratereductor works with a flow rate of 1 to 4 l/hr (c. 0.25 to 1 gph). In the absence of oxygen this situation promotes bacteria that metabolize nitrate. Denimar powder or Deniballs are used as an organic energy source.
