The sera UV-C system is versatile and extremely effective. It's suitable for both aquariums and garden ponds. UV-C rays are cosmic in origin and do not occur naturally on Earth. As a result, no organisms, including harmful ones such as bacteria, viruses, fungi, and filamentous algae, have evolved to withstand this powerful radiation. The sera UV-C System leverages this during the filtration process, enhancing the living conditions and overall health of aquatic pets. It effectively removes bacterial cloudiness and prevents the water from turning green in ponds.

Within the system, water is exposed to UV-C radiation for a brief period. The device features a UV-C lamp that is safeguarded by a premium quartz glass casing, allowing the water to be irradiated effectively. Water flows in through one inlet connector and exits through another on the opposite side. This connector accommodates hoses of various sizes.

One end of the system includes a rotatable connector, enabling you to adjust its position as necessary.

The system is available in multiple sizes to meet different requirements (refer to the table). They can be connected to an appropriate pump using hoses. The UV-C system is equipped with an energy-efficient lamp paired with a reliable electronic ballast.
