The metal "ends" featured in the video are no longer included in the new adapters, making them compatible with models that have threaded moisture protection. Additionally, you can securely attach them using screws (sold separately) to a plastic cover, for instance, with a plastic cover. This allows for the complete removal of the T5/T8 lamp unit. This AquaEl Adapter Retrofit kit provides everything you need to install an AquaEl Leddy Tube (sold separately) into your current aquarium canopy or hood. The package includes two adapters (one for each end of the Leddy Tube). You can choose between a T5 model (approximately 15mm in diameter) or a T8 model (approximately 25mm in diameter).
