The ASAP internal filter is equipped with a modern, energy-efficient motor encased in a sleek housing, along with a sizable transparent filter bowl filled with specially selected filtration sponge. This sponge quickly becomes colonized by beneficial bacteria, allowing water that flows through the filter to undergo both biological and mechanical filtration. This ensures that the water remains clear and safe for the aquatic life in your aquarium. Maintenance consists of two key procedures: one involves removing the filter bowl and replacing it with a new one (we offer standard cartridges as well as those containing activated carbon or phosphate absorbent to inhibit algae growth). The other procedure is rinsing the filtration sponge in water drawn from the tank. This can be done without needing to take the entire filter out of the aquarium, making it very convenient and significantly cutting down maintenance time.

The new ASAP internal filters are also perfectly suited for aquaterrariums, as they can operate in water as shallow as 5 centimeters. Moreover, they effectively oxygenate the tank water by creating strong surface movement. There are three distinct models available, offering capacities of 300, 500, and 700 l/h respectively. They are designed for aquarium tanks ranging from a few dozen to 250 litres. Their functional characteristics make these filters suitable for both novice and experienced aquarists.
