The standout feature of the biopower is its multilayer filtration system, akin to that of an external filter. The enclosed filter baskets are packed with highly effective filter media (e.g., SUBSTRATpro). The inlet basket, which includes a filter cartridge for mechanical-biological prefiltration, is positioned at the bottom. Water is drawn in at the bottom, passed through various filter layers, and then returned to the aquarium after thorough filtration.
Available in three models suitable for aquariums ranging from 80 to 240 liters.
The aquaball concept utilizes external filter technology.
This means the water is pumped from the bottom to the top through multiple filter layers before being sent back into the tank.
The sealed filter baskets come pre-loaded with EHEIM SUBSTRATpro, but other filter media can also be utilized.
The inlet basket features a filter cartridge designed for mechanical-biological prefiltration. Additionally, a filter pad in the pump head holder provides extra filtration.
You can easily adjust the filter volume by adding or removing filter modules (filter baskets) as needed.
To expand the filter, consider using ExtensionSET2.
The filter baskets snap together and can be detached effortlessly (Easy-Klick Locking System).
Thanks to the modular design, filter cartridges or media can be cleaned at varying intervals, maintaining beneficial bacteria cultures.
The spherical pump head is mounted in a ball socket, allowing it to rotate 360 degrees. This ensures that the flow of filtered water can be directed in any desired direction.
Adjust the pump output and flow rate using the control knob located on the outflow nozzle.
The power-diffusor regulates the air intake, enhancing oxygen levels in the aquarium.

The biopower holder attaches securely to the glass using suction cups. For tasks such as cleaning, changing modules, or adding filter media, the filter can be easily removed from its holder.
