- classic 150 includes a base for stable positioning
- classic 250 comes with a filter basket, including 1 each of coarse filter pad, fine filter pad, and activated carbon pad
- classic 1500XL features a practical drain tap; the pump unit can be operated separately from the canister
This filter is compatible with both coarse and fine filter pads. However, we recommend utilizing an EHEIM filter media layering setup for optimal results. Filter Media Sets are available for each model (excluding classic 150).
