Features specific to individual models:
- classic 150 with a base for stable positioning
- classic 250 includes a filter basket, one each of coarse filter pad, fine filter pad, and activated carbon pad
- classic 1500XL with a convenient drain tap;
the pump unit can be operated separately from the canister
The filter can utilize coarse and fine filter pads. However, we recommend setting up filter media layers using EHEIM filter media. Filter Media Sets are available for each model (except classic 150).
