The EHEIM climacontrol+ is our latest electronically managed climate control system. You can conveniently adjust the ideal water temperature wirelessly through your smartphone, tablet, or PC/MAC. If the water becomes too warm, the device automatically cools it down, and if it drops too low, it raises the temperature. The system takes care of monitoring and controlling everything for you.
Additionally, it provides advanced notifications for any issues, such as when the desired temperature exceeds or falls below 2 °C for over 5 minutes, you will receive a warning email.

The primary function of the EHEIM climacontrol+ is to cool the aquarium water when temperatures rise too high. It provides both cooling and heating capabilities.
During the summer, elevated outside temperatures can often cause the aquarium water to overheat—especially in small rooms that heat up quickly, in attics, or in direct sunlight. Even in tanks that are covered at the top to retain warmth from the lighting, heat buildup can occur.
The EHEIM climacontrol+ features WLAN functionality. The Wi-Fi controller allows you to set the ideal target temperature using your smartphone, tablet, or PC/MAC. When the temperature exceeds or falls below the target value, the unit activates to cool or heat the water until the desired temperature is achieved. The current water temperature is always displayed. If the set temperature fluctuates by 2 °C for more than 5 minutes, you will receive a warning email.
The EHEIM climacontrol+ operates as a continuous flow device and should only be used with clean (filtered) water. For marine aquariums, this means using water from the filter tank with a separate pump. In freshwater aquariums, it can be placed behind the external filter, or alternatively, operated via a separate pump with a pre-filter directly from the aquarium.
The EHEIM climacontrol+ is designed for energy efficiency and environmental responsibility. The refrigerant (R290) is a replacement for ozone-depleting substances, possessing minimal global warming potential (GWP).
When positioning the unit, ensure that ventilation openings remain unobstructed. Maintain a minimum distance of 50 mm from walls and other surfaces. In the base cabinet of an aquarium setup, appropriate cutouts must be made to ensure adequate air supply and exhaust for warm air (refer to the user manual for more details).
