The professionel 4+ represents the latest evolution in our line of external filters. Its square canister design ensures stability, accommodates a substantial filter volume, fits well in corners, and is space-efficient.
Thanks to the innovative Xtender function, you can now extend the time between filter cleanings.
Available in three sizes, the professionel 4+ filters cater to aquariums of up to 250, 350, and 600 liters.
The 250 and 350 models also come as thermo filters (T).

Self-priming
No more hassle with complicated suction techniques! The self-priming feature prepares the filter system for a quick and effortless start.
Safety hose connector
The tap unit includes two hose connectors - for added safety, the hose adapter can only be disengaged when the valves are closed.
Prefilter
The upper prefilter captures larger dirt particles and can be cleaned frequently, helping to prolong the intervals between media maintenance.
Filter baskets
Distinct filter baskets designed for biological and mechanical media. The baskets can be effortlessly removed, and their contents can be cleaned using the ‘Easy Clean’ grid. Simple to detach and easy to maintain.
„Xtender“ Control Feature
If the media (fine filter pad) becomes clogged, the control feature allows for an increase in flow rate. The water will be redirected while maintaining biological filtration, enabling you to delay filter cleaning for a few extra days.
