The professionel 4+ represents the latest evolution in our range of external filters. Its square canister design provides stability, accommodates a large filter volume, is ideal for corner placements, and is space-efficient.
Thanks to the innovative Xtender function, you can now extend the intervals between filter cleanings.
The professionel 4+ filters come in three sizes, catering to aquariums with capacities of up to 250, 350, and 600 litres.
The 250 and 350 models are also available as thermo filters (T).

Self-priming
Say goodbye to complicated priming techniques! The self-priming feature readies the filter system for a quick and easy startup.
Safety hose adapter
The tap unit comes equipped with two hose connectors – to ensure safety, the hose adapter can only be detached when the valves are shut.
Prefilter
The top prefilter captures larger dirt particles and can be cleaned routinely, helping to extend the maintenance period between media cleanings.
Filter baskets
Each filter features individual baskets for biological and mechanical filtration media. These baskets can be easily removed and cleaned with the ‘Easy Clean’ grid, making them simple to maintain.
„Xtender“ Control Function
When the media (fine filter pad) is blocked, the flow rate can be increased through the control function. This redirects the water while maintaining biological filtration, allowing you to delay cleaning the filter for a few extra days.
