Adjustment and Control
The EHEIM thermocontrol+ e aquarium heater is an enhanced version of the thermocontrol e heater. Unlike its predecessor, this model is programmed and monitored wirelessly through WLAN using a smartphone, tablet, or PC/MAC.
The temperature can be accurately set between 18 and 32 °C. If the temperature deviates by +/-2 degrees, you will receive an email alert, assuming you have provided an email address.
Synchronization with Other Devices
A standout feature is the ability of the thermocontrol+ e to synchronize with other devices in the EHEIM Digital Family, such as the EHEIM professionel 5e filter or LED lighting control. This allows you to program the temperature to rise or fall based on changes in filter flow (in bio mode) or lighting status.
For example: If the filter flow increases at night and the lighting is turned off, the temperature can automatically adjust: 25 °C during the day; 23 °C at night. (Note: The heater does not cool the water; it does not have an integrated cooling function).
WLAN Connection
The thermocontrol+ e is fully submersible and waterproof. For optimal WLAN connectivity, ensure that the heater is only immersed to the "water level" mark.
For your device's security, every EHEIM thermocontrol+ e comes pre-encrypted (the password can be changed). Once you've set your desired temperature, you can turn off the wifi network.
