Adjustment and Control
The EHEIM thermocontrol+ e aquarium heater represents a significant advancement over the thermocontrol e model. Unlike its predecessor, this unit is programmed and monitored wirelessly through WLAN, using your smartphone, tablet, or PC/MAC.
It allows for precise temperature settings from 18 to 32 °C. Should the temperature deviate by +/-2 degrees, you'll receive an email notification, provided you've registered an email address.
Device Synchronization
A standout feature is the ability to synchronize the thermocontrol+ e with other devices from the Eheim Digital Family, such as the EHEIM professionel 5e filter or the LED lighting control LEDcontrol+. This means you can program the heater to adjust the temperature based on changes in filter flow (in bio mode) or when the LED lighting is turned on or off.
For instance: If the filter flow increases at night and the lighting is turned off, the heater can automatically adjust the temperature from 25 °C during the day to 23 °C at night. (Please note: The heater does not cool the water as it lacks an integrated cooling function).
WLAN Connection
The thermocontrol+ e is fully waterproof and can be completely submerged. However, to ensure optimal WLAN connectivity, it should only be immersed up to the "water level" mark.
For your device's security, each EHEIM thermocontrol+ e comes encrypted from the factory (the password can be modified). Once the desired temperature is set, the Wi-Fi network can be turned off.
