sera marin salt is free from any substances that could artificially boost protein skimmer performance. It is also devoid of nitrates, silicates, and phosphates. Sera (sea salt free of nitrates, phosphates, and silicates) provides calcium along with all the essential trace elements required for successfully cultivating ornamental algae and lower resins in saltwater. Additionally, it includes a blend of special substances that aid in the removal of harmful elements such as heavy metals and copper. It dissolves swiftly and without leaving deposits. With its natural buffering system, it guarantees a stable pH value.

Instructions for use: Dissolve Sera marin salt (approximately 33 g per liter of water) to achieve a water density between 1.022 and 1.024 g/ml in treated water (osmosis) or chlorine-free tap water, aerate for 24 hours, or mix thoroughly with a submersible pump to enhance oxygen and carbon dioxide levels. Warning: Do not dissolve sea salt directly in an active aquarium! We suggest changing 5-10% of the aquarium water monthly, and using sera aquatan and sera bio reef clear for improved water quality. When establishing a new aquarium, treat the water with Sera aquatan and Sera bio reef clear, and allow the aquarium with all connected equipment (pumps, heaters, filter...) to operate for at least 14 days to achieve biological stabilization before introducing fish.
