This formula is ideal for transitioning your bird from its previous diet to Roudybush. It can also be fed to adult birds that are not currently laying eggs or nurturing chicks. Lories and lorikeets that adapt to this diet will experience drier droppings compared to when they are on nectar. For birds that are habitual egg-layers or those prone to hypocalcaemia, such as African Greys, it’s recommended to mix 2/3 Maintenance with 1/3 High-Energy Breeder to enhance calcium and vitamin D3 intake. Avoid adding extra vitamin or mineral supplements. You can offer fresh fruit and vegetable treats as a small component of their overall diet.
