Please follow these guidelines to help your new aquarium residents adapt. It's essential that the fish gradually get used to the water conditions of your aquarium.
To minimize added stress, please turn off the aquarium lighting. Keep it off until all new fish have entered the aquarium and are settling in comfortably.
Position the fish transport bag inside the aquarium.
Open the bag while ensuring it stays upright in the tank, perhaps by using a clamp for support.
Add aquarium water to the bag, filling it to about one-third of its total volume.
After 10 minutes, add more water from the aquarium to the bag.
Wait another 10 minutes before adding aquarium water to the bag for the third time.
After an additional 10 minutes, gently use a net to transfer the fish from the bag into the aquarium.
Dispose of the leftover water in the bag properly.
If needed, top off the aquarium with fresh water. By using Aquatan, you not only neutralize harmful substances in the water but also introduce vital minerals into it.
