Metrobactin Tablets are designed to treat gastrointestinal infections stemming from Giardia spp. and Clostridia spp. Additionally, Metrobactin can address infections in the urogenital area, oral cavity, throat, and skin that are caused by anaerobic bacteria sensitive to metronidazole.

Active ingredient:
• Metrobactin 500mg tablets - Each tablet contains: Metronidazole 500mg

Pack size: 100 tablets in blister packs per box – 500mg and also available in 250mg
Indications for use:
Effective against gastrointestinal tract infections due to Giardia spp. and Clostridia spp. (including C. perfringens or C. difficile). Also used for treating infections in the urogenital tract, oral cavity, throat, and skin caused by obligate anaerobic bacteria (such as Clostridia spp.) that are susceptible to metronidazole.
Dosage:
For oral use only. The suggested dose is 50 mg of metronidazole per kg of body weight each day for 5-7 days. The total daily dosage can be split into two equal parts for administration twice a day (i.e., 25 mg/kg body weight twice daily). To guarantee the correct dosage, please measure the body weight as accurately as possible.
Storage: Divided tablets should be used within 3 days. Store in a place where the temperature does not exceed 30°C.
