Coarse & Medium styles (#6 - #12 blades) are ideal for preparatory grooming and thinning out the undercoat.

• #8-Blade Stripper works well for prepping coarser coats, including:

• #12 Blade Stripper is perfect for heavy or double coats, such as:
  • Pomeranians
  • Lhasas
  • Westies
  • Poodles

Fine styles (#16 - #20 blades) are also available.

• #20 Blade Stripper is ideal for finishing and carding thick, fine coats, such as:
  • Spaniels
  • Setters
  • Afghans
  • for grooming heavy coats

Note: Use coarse styles to remove the undercoat, and fine styles for finishing touches.

Quick Guide:

• Employ coarse styles to remove the undercoat, and fine styles for finishing.
• The softer the coat, the finer the gap between the blades.
• The longer the coat, the finer the gap between the blades.
• For short-coated dogs, use the closest and finest gap.
• For long and wire-haired coats, start with a coarse Coat King, followed by the fine one.
• (The finer the gap between the blades, the more blades you will have).

To Use: Gently place the tool on the coat and comb in the direction of hair growth.

Note: Grooming against or sideways to the hair growth can lead to excessive hair cutting. Limit use to once a week or every other week to avoid over-grooming your pet!
