Analytical constituents (approximate as fed): moisture ~77%, protein ~10.5–10.7%, fat ~6.0%, crude ash ~2.2%, crude fibre ~0.4%, sodium ~0.14%, potassium ~0.35%, metabolizable energy ~1062–1076 kcal/kg.
Nutritional additives include vitamin A (~1315 IU/kg), vitamin D3 (~180 IU/kg), iron (~12 mg/kg), iodine (~0.48 mg/kg), copper (~1.2 mg/kg), manganese (~2.2 mg/kg), zinc (~23 mg/kg), and taurine (~1500–1561 mg/kg).
