A hooper is a part of an agility course for dogs. It consists of a cylindrical or hoop-shaped construction that the dog must go through. The purpose of the hooper is to teach the dog to work and guide from a distance without the handler having to be physically close. It is an alternative to jumps and tunnels that require more physical exertion from the dog and can help reduce the risk of injury in young or older dogs. Please note some caution is required when fitting this hoop when bending the plastic part. It is best to make the aluminium tubes and plastic part as long as possible and then press it onto the base. Can be used well together with aluminum hooper gate. Weather resistant, will not rust.
