The Halo scanner boasts a reading range of up to 15cm, with a scanning area of 120cm². Simply recharge using a USB cable connected to a laptop or PC (not compatible with Mac or Linux systems). This scanner is capable of reading all FDX-B 15-digit and FDX-A 10-digit microchips, as well as EM4102 chips, and will indicate when a 9-digit encrypted chip is detected. The 15-digit microchip is predominantly used across Europe. Additionally, it can read thermo chips and display the temperature from BioTherm microchips. The entire outer edge serves as the scanning area, allowing for a broad scanning coverage in a single pass.
