Ideally, treats should not exceed 10% of your pet's daily caloric intake, so consider reducing their regular meal portions to maintain a healthy weight, factoring in treats given during training sessions. This also applies to treats offered as rewards for good behavior. Neglecting this can lead to gradual weight gain, which is detrimental to your pet’s health.
Treat Wise: We always advise supervising your pet while they enjoy treats, particularly when introducing a new one. Some dogs (though rare for cats) can be overly enthusiastic with tasty morsels and might not chew adequately, posing a choking risk.
