The Pro Paludarium™ boasts an extra-deep, waterproof bottom, making it perfect for creating varied habitats like rainforests, swamps, or riverside settings. This adaptable design supports both aquatic and terrestrial species, making it suitable for a diverse range of plants and animals. The integrated drainage system simplifies the removal of excess water or weekly water changes.

A Paludarium’s habitat is comprised of three distinct zones:

  • Terrestrial Zone
The terrestrial zone is a land area filled with plants, trees, bushes, and rocks that remain above water. A variety of invertebrates, reptiles, and amphibians thrive here in tropical climates.
  • Riparian Zone
The riparian zone, or riverbank, serves as the interface between land and water. It is home to semi-aquatic invertebrates, reptiles, and amphibians.
  • Aquatic Zone
The aquatic zone may include a stream, pond, or even a lake – providing a habitat for turtles, aquatic amphibians, fish, and freshwater shrimp.
