Update on composition change as of late 2021: Gammarus pulex has long been the top choice for carnivorous aquatic turtles due to its excellent nutritional profile and availability. However, the impacts of climate change are evident in this area. The warming of the water sources for gammarus in 2021 adversely affected their numbers. As sera is committed to sustainable fishing practices to support species preservation, the decision was made to incorporate prawns into the formulation of sera Raffy I alongside gammarus. This adjustment replaces 50% of gammarus, offering a higher protein content in the nutritional mix. At the same time, gammarus in the product ensures an appropriate range of animal-based nutrients, including calcium, magnesium, trace elements, and beta carotene.
