Stops water from reversing flow out of the aquarium and into the CO2 equipment (check valve)
Simple to install: just cut the CO2 tubing and place the backflow preventer in between (make sure the arrow is pointing towards the aquarium)
Safety feature: lock nuts ensure the CO2 tubing stays securely in place
