Flourite is a uniquely processed, stable porous clay gravel designed for natural planted aquariums. Its aesthetic is particularly suited for planted setups, yet it can be utilized in any freshwater aquarium setting. Flourite performs best when used as a standalone substrate, but it can also be blended with other gravels. When introducing water to your aquarium, pour it in gradually to prevent disruption of the Flourite substrate. To do this, place a bowl inside the aquarium and direct the water into the bowl, allowing it to overflow gently onto the gravel bed. It’s normal for the water to appear cloudy initially. To clear the cloudiness, utilize mechanical filtration (like filter floss). For faster clarity, consider using Clarity.
