API® MELAFIX fish remedy is a completely natural antibacterial solution designed to address infections in fish. Common bacterial issues include open wounds and abrasions, tail rot, cloudy eyes, and mouth fungus. This remedy also aids in the regeneration of damaged fins and tissue. It can be applied when introducing new fish to an aquarium—especially to ease the transition from store to home—or if an infection is suspected but not yet confirmed. Some fish purchased from pet stores may already harbor diseases at the time of sale, which can be hard to identify in their initial stages.

The API MELAFIX fish remedy is safe for your biological filter, will not change the pH levels, and will not discolor the water.

• Use 5 ml. for every 10 gallons of aquarium water.
• For treating diseases or wounds, administer daily for a week.
• After 7 days, perform a 25% water change.
• Continue treatment if needed.
• When introducing new fish, administer daily for 3 days.
