Marine Buffer effectively elevates marine pH levels to 8.3 safely. Even in the event of an accidental overdose, it will not push the pH beyond 8.3. This product is a special blend and is more than just sodium bicarbonate or sodium carbonate, which are often marketed as alternatives.

DIRECTIONS:
Add 5g (1 level teaspoon) for every 80L (20 US gallons). Ensure it is dissolved in at least one cup of freshwater. This dosage will also increase alkalinity by roughly 1 meq/L. Continue adding daily until the pH stabilizes at 8.3, which may take from one day to a week, depending on the initial pH and alkalinity. After that, apply biweekly or monthly to keep the pH at 8.3.
